These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the shelter.ie website. By accessing or using shelter.ie, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
If you engage Shelter for one of our productised packs (Cash-for-Keys Negotiation, RTB Acceleration Pack, or Documentation & Evidence Service), the terms of that engagement are governed by a separate Engagement Letter — these Terms continue to apply to your general use of the site.
Shelter.ie is an advisory and project-management service for Irish landlords. We are not a solicitor's firm. We do not provide legal advice. References to "we", "us", "our", and "Shelter" mean Shelter.ie.

Our productised packs do not guarantee specific outcomes. The Residential Tenancies Board is a statutory body whose decisions we do not control.
To the extent permitted by law, Shelter.ie's liability for any direct or indirect loss arising from use of the site (excluding active client engagements, which are governed by the separate Engagement Letter) is limited to the amount you have paid Shelter.ie in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be limited under Irish law.
Shelter.ie contains links to external resources (the Irish Times, the RTB, Citizens Information, Tailte Éireann, Threshold, etc.). We do not control these resources and are not responsible for their content. Linking does not imply endorsement of the linked site or affiliation with its publisher.
Shelter.ie is not affiliated with Shelter (UK), the housing charity, or with Threshold, the Irish housing charity for tenants, or with any housing-rights organisation. Shelter.ie operates on the landlord side of tenancy disputes. If you are a tenant, please contact Threshold on 1800 454 454.

These Terms are governed by Irish law. Any dispute arising from your use of shelter.ie is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
